Was approached and got to a meeting. Did not like it. Rather have a free mind and no pressure and no meetings and no coaching and no support system.

Might have been a nice idea once, but the mechanism makes the meetings like that go on for ever with new people wanting to get rich. What a suffering.

I did my job and did not nurture it. Like an ant colony that never stops with new beleivers joining all the time.

Just kill it.

I support free and spiritual people who can make choises. If you have your own business you can make your own decisions you are the boss.

In Amway - try to add another product or reorganize. You can't.

You are not free. And to the extent you actually build the network and do not work - others are, many times over. Trying to make the dream come true.

You may get away but others don´t. There has to be more people that don´t get away because the margin is so poor. And all the staff can not take time off. The ants "wanting to be" has to work.

If you take the average facial expression of all people in Amway it must be dull or possibly hopefull.

Since there is no magic in the sales process it is just hard work - everyone try to not do it by working hard to build themselves out of hard work.

If you would call all your staff and say "stop all expansion" some people would leave immediately because the dream is built on expansion and trying to get out of hard work.

So stupid to have an idea - not to work and just make money easilly in a group where you don´t all profit from it.

If the system and the products are so great hire people and give them salary to expand the network so they make money from day one.

The dream would be a bit flat but the sum of the time all people in the organisation can be with their children would increase.

If you would share the income from the sales material, courses and events..

But wait a minute. There would be no income from sales material.

Why is that?

Let's make an analogy to the Amway business. Say you owned a company that sold widgets. Your company had billions in sales. Let's say half of your sales force were honest, upfront and stand up guys. The other half of your sales force were liars, cheaters, crooks and used unethical means to sell goods.

After a while, what will happen to the reputation of the widget company? What has happened to Amway?

Thechaser, as I said in the past, there are some IBOs who focus on selling and I believe you are one of them. But when there are major groups out there who still teach buy from yourself and other unethical practices, you are talking about literally hundreds of thousands of IBOs who might be getting bad advice.

The accreditation program did not work in the big picture and there are still groups that push tools, teach lies and other crap. They fly under the radar because Amway doesn't have any apparent measures to stop abuse.

It may seem unfair to you, but I believe there are more abusive upline than good ones. Remember I am from the US and not from where you are. Furthermore, I believe that the uplines who lied and cheated during my time simply revised their own history (nobody profits from tools) and were never made to account for the lies and the financial ruin they headped on their downline. They not only escaped accountability, they have never acknowoledged or appologized for their lies. I believe they are getting some payback due to the freely available information on the internet and that is why I keep blogging. I have good reason to believe that the uplines who gave me bad advice are doing the same thing now, 12 years later. I see it directly from IBOs who are currently downline from the same leaders I had. One of these downline runs his own blog and based on what he is posting, the same crap is taught today, that was taught back when I was an IBO.

wow, Joecool you are really scarred from your past experiences.

Fact, a new diamond have qualified last year with about 25 to 30 in each of his 6 legs..

All very profitable and all happy with products and the method used.

We can debate till our face are blue on whether your fact are correct or mine, but the simple conclusion is that I have the fruit on the tree and have see how people have learnt and changed. I have only just got off the phone with a new IBO who just LOVEs the books and the association.

He know there is money to be made in functions and his response to that was 'so does Tony Robbins, big deal'.

there is a currently platinum that has 10 downline. Heavy retailers as they move espring like a normal business. Massive database and repeat customers.

There is also a current ruby that runs 6000pv personal circles as she has established a huge Artistry client base.

I can go on and on.. just last month 5 girls made over 3000 in just Emma Page along... Retail profit plus some bonuses.

thats only with about 4 in the team.

The fact is that you have had an experience that is different to mine. I run it like a business and teach all new IBOs to treat it like a business. If you don't want to run it like a business and whinge about the system or how the compensation plan is so poor and it relies on other people to make you money then you have obviously missed the point of the plan.

besides, what fact are you talking about that does not support the examples that i have just given you.

Why do Amway people always compare the training to college or the gym? The same can be said of Amway defenders, always making ridiculous comparisons because they too don't understand how their own system works.

What skills do IBOs learn? They learn to disregard facts, they learn to lie, they learn to deceive prospects. They learn to dodge straighforward questions. The sysem doesn't work and the facts suppport my position, not yours.

While some people can succeed in Amway, the vast majority do not. It's not because of a lack of applied skills, it's because the system doesn't work and the compensation plan that Amway uses, requuires layer of downlines in order for one to reach the higher levels. Simple math supports my claim as well.

joecool, for starters you can not compare building a business to finishing school. they are two completely two separate endeavour. One requires business skills and one require knowledge.

Its like saying why can't a sprinter run a marathon. That remark shows that till now you still don't understand the original intention of an AMWAY business or in fact any direct selling business.

The training and system do not work because most people DONT apply the skills they learn. Its much more than just building a AMWAY business.

As I have mentioned many time, the skill I have learnt from building an AMWAY business has enable me to build 4 other successful ventures using the similar principles
