Horrible Car Conversions
March 23rd, 2008 | Published under Cars | 14 Comments
It seems that just some people aren’t happy enough with the cars they have, and want to make their cars look like something it’s not, without spending the big bucks of getting the real thing. The only thing they seem to forget, however, is that usually these conversions look horrible, and nowhere near the real thing.
First up, not so horrible, is a 200SX S14 with a Skyline R43 look.

This person thinks their Fiat 500 should look more like a Porsche Cayenne, without the size.

Here’s a Mazda MX5, with a very awful Aston Martin conversion.

This Volkswagen Beetle is converted to a, um… turtle?

And this Beetle seems to think it’s a multi-million dollar Bentley.

This Honda Civic is, I’m not sure what.

This Honda CRX is some kind of Mercedes-Benz / BMW cross.

This is a $38,000 conversion of a Falcon AU to a BA XR6.

Here’s an Integra with the backside of a Skyline R34.

Another horrible Honda conversion, a Legend converted to a Skyline R34.

A full-on conversion of a Honda NSX to a Ferrari F50.

A Kia Rio that thinks its some sort of Subaru WRX.

And finally, a Toyota Supra with the front of a R34 Skyline.

Some people sure do have imaginations.

To be totally honest, not EVERYONE thinks the same as you, it’s not all “Oh, I want it to look like this” sometimes, they do it as a JOKE, or, often, they actually turn out REALLY well, it’s arrogant people who think “NO IT’S NOT THAT CAR!!” Who ruin the fantasy for those who like to dream a little.

The Legend R34 swap wouldn’t look half bad if the handles weren’t shaved, the body kit wasn’t an eyesore and the paint looked good.

I believe a couple of the conversions weren’t too bad. The 1st one to me actually looks more like a Viper turned R34 than an S14. I think the NSX deffinitely pulled of the F50 Look. I believe some people need to convert they’re cars more to what would suit the shape and size of their car rather that spending ridiculous amounts of money designing custom work but, in the end it’s unique to them and that’s what matters most.

I think that some of the conversions were cool I mean some of them were shit and others were tight one of my favs was the legend turned skyline kinda long but hey could’ve fooled me and the vw’s and the crx with ther mercedes front that looks like plain ol stupidity they need to take all that money they spent on that and burn it cause that’s al they did was burn it on a project that looks so ugly

They are all interesting. First of all these people fixed thier cars up for better of themselfs, not for you. People now wanna stand out in the compition and give it thier own look and even a name. Alot of blood, sweat and tears were probly put into thier car so you gotta respect that.Personally i wouldnt do that but its cool.
